Strides of Hope Walkathon

Case Study

Challenge

A nonprofit pregnancy resource center called A Hope Center wanted to bring more awareness to their organization and their Earn While You Learn program by creating a brochure for their potential clients. A Hope Center wanted to inform more people about their annual walkathon called Strides of Hope by understanding their audience better so they could reach out to them.

Approach

After looking at previous years participants, we came to the conclusion that we needed to target parents and their children. The theme chosen was Disney because it allows the children to dress up and it becomes more of a family event. I created an invite for the Strides of Hope walkathon that showed photographs of children dressing up in Disney costumes so that families would want to come as well.

Result

In August 2017, Strides of Hope took place and ended up having a large turnout, meaning the invite was successful.
